How Do You Guys Build The Pack?

We gather essential items like water, sports drinks, snacks, warm socks, and travel-sized toiletries such as toothpaste, a toothbrush, and floss. For larger packs, especially around the holidays, we use backpacks to include even more items. Once everything is collected, we organize an each pack and carefully put together. Finally, we include a bible verse note in each one to offer encouragement and remind recipients they are seen, loved, and not alone.

How Do You Determine Who  Receives The Pack?

We typically distribute the Blessing Packs in areas where we’ve seen individuals experiencing homelessness, such as street corners or underpasses. While we don’t have a fixed route, we pay close attention to cues like worn clothing, signs asking for help, or people resting in public spaces. Our goal is to meet people where they are and offer support with compassion and dignity.

When you make a donation through Startup Waco/our website, you’ll receive a confirmation email and receipt to acknowledge your contribution.
